Dear Parents,
LOOKING BACK
EARLY BIRDS (8:00AM-8:45AM)
Early Birds students enjoyed seeing friends and settling into their morning routines with a variety of art projects, new shelf work, and seasonal books.
AFTER SCHOOL CLUB (3:30 PM-6:00 PM)

Throughout the month of January, the students enjoyed crafts and activities relating to the winter season, as well as ongoing favorites such as Legos, new games, finger-knitting, and Story Drama. For Story Drama the children enjoy acting out their favorite stories together in a group, practicing taking turns and using props and costumes. We have been continuously amazed by the clever creations the kids come up with using items from the popular “Creation Station.”
LOOKING AHEAD
For students staying for After School Club, we have a lot of familiar and new activities planned to make everyday fun and a way for students to expand their skills and enjoy new experiences. In February, here is what we have planned for each day. We will adapt our schedule again in March to take advantage of the hopefully improving weather and lighter afternoons.

Tuesdays: Lego creations
Wednesdays: Music and Movement
Thursdays: Fuse Bead Art
Fridays: Finger knitting and Movie Night
Mid-Winter Break February 20-24

Best wishes,
Mrs. Trivedi
Early Birds: Ms. Lin
Afterschool Clubroom: Mrs. Trivedi, Ms. Buckley, Mrs. Unadkat (Mrs. U.), Mrs. Grandinaru, Mrs. Saee, Mrs. Gupta, Mrs. Venn, Mrs. Rawat, Ms. McKinney and our teen helper Ms. Elena
IMPORTANT REMINDER: Please note that After School Club begins right at 3:30 PM, even if your child is still being escorted to the ASC location. Any student who has not been picked up by 3:30 PM is automatically entered into After School Club. When you pick up your child always be sure you have signed out on an iPad. The safety of our students is our top priority so we never want to have a situation where it is unclear whether a child has been picked up. Thank you so much for your help in making sure the communication loop is closed so that the whereabouts of every child is certain. (Please be sure anyone else authorized to pick up your child understands this as well.)
