Toddler:
Our Montessori Toddler summer program introduces children (18-36 months) to a nurturing school environment where they can explore, grow, and build confidence. Guided by experienced Montessori teachers, toddlers engage in activities that foster independence, coordination, and language development at their own pace. This program helps ease the transition into a classroom setting, encouraging social interaction and familiarity with Montessori routines. Morning and afternoon sessions are available. Children must be at least 18 months old to join.

SMS STEAM:

Designed for young innovators, our camp blends Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math through hands-on experiments and interactive projects. From exploring Newton’s laws and building dancing bots to experimenting with surface tension and crafting without adhesives, every activity sparks discovery. Woodworking

Get ready to build, hammer, and imagine! Our Woodworking Summer Camp is an action-packed adventure for young builders who love to create and explore. Kids will make wood projects like cars, trains, boats, and airplanes in a safe, supportive setting while developing confidence and fine-motor skills. On the final day, the children will design and build their own pine car derby and wrap up the week with an exciting race!

Little Bakers 

Join our Little Bakers class, where young chefs mix science with fun in a hands-on baking experience! From fluffy cakes to crunchy bread and buttery croissants, kids will explore essential baking techniques, precise measurements, and the magic behind delicious creations. Creative Threads – Weaving Camp

Our “Weaving camp” offers children a hands-on introduction to the art of weaving through purposeful, creative work. Using yarn, fabric, paper, and natural materials, children will explore weaving techniques that build concentration, fine motor coordination, patience, and confidence.

Guided by Montessori principles, activities are thoughtfully designed to support each child at their individual developmental stage. Younger children will engage in simple, tactile weaving experiences, while older children will work with looms, patterns, and more complex designs. Each child is encouraged to work at their own pace, fostering independence and a sense of accomplishment.

Children will be encouraged to express their creativity freely, make choices, and explore art at their own pace. 

Montessori Makers Lab : 3D Printing Adventures

From Montessori shapes to 3D creations! –

This hands-on summer camp blends the Montessori approach with cutting-edge technology. Children will explore geometric solids and sensorial materials, then bring their ideas to life through digital design and 3D printing. From tactile learning to creative innovation, campers experience the full journey from concrete to abstract building skills, creativity, and confidence along the way.

Students will design and print exciting objects such as personalized name tags and keychains, colorful geometric solids like cubes and spheres, penholders, simple toys with moving parts such as spinning wheels and hinges.

Campers will learn and use kid-friendly 3D design software such as Tinkercad for modeling and Cura for preparing files for printing, giving them hands-on experience with tools used by real makers and designers.

Masters Builders
In this hands-on class, young architects will use blocks, bricks, and Legos to craft structures inspired by architectural wonders from around the world, like the Taj Mahal and the Great Wall of China. From ancient pyramids to modern skylines, they’ll explore the legacy of legendary architects while learning how art and architecture come together. Join us and start constructing your own masterpieces, one block at a time!

Kitchen Chemistry

Join our Kitchen Chemistry Lab, where young scientists turn everyday ingredients into extraordinary culinary wonders! Through hands-on experiments, they’ll explore food chemistry—witnessing reactions, understanding textures, and discovering how science shapes the flavors we love. With aprons on and goggles in place, kids will mix, fizz, and create edible experiments that make learning both fun and tasty!

Art Explorer: Discovering Famous Artists

Join us for a two-week Summer Art Camp filled with color, creativity, and inspiration! Campers will explore the lives and artwork of five famous artists, learning what inspired them and the different mediums they used to create their masterpieces. Each artist study will spark hands-on projects where children create their own artwork inspired by the styles we explore, along with other fun creative activities. A special visit from an art docent will help campers learn how to look at and understand paintings when visiting an art museum. We’ll end the camp with a joyful Art Walk at school, where parents can purchase their child’s artwork for a small donation. All proceeds from the Art Walk will be donated to artvaultseattle.com, supporting the arts in our community.

Olympic and Medical Explorer Camp

Campers will Participate in Olympic-inspired sports and team games. Compete in fun challenges and relays. Learn about the Country of the Day. Practice teamwork, sportsmanship, and goal-setting

Explore animals in fun-filled class for animal lovers! Through arts and crafts, singalongs, games, and storytelling, kids will discover fascinating facts about pets and wild animals, exploring their habitats and characteristics. From sorting animals to learning who soars, swims, or roams, every day is an adventure! Plus, a special pony visit will give students a chance to enjoy a ride. Get ready for an exciting exploration of the animal kingdom!

Garden to Table 

Welcome to “Garden to table,” where we focus on wholesome, locally sourced produce. The children learn how to plant, compost, and harvest from our school garden, as well as how to prepare delicious and nutritious meals using fruits and vegetables they’ve grown with their own hands.

STEM & Basic Engineering Camp

Each morning, kids dive into a different adventure—exploring oceans; archeology; city design; slime chemistry; and architecture that has stood the test of time. Hands‑on builds spark creativity, problem‑solving, and cultural awareness through engaging STEM exploration.

In the afternoon, campers dive into hands-on science using LEGO® bricks and interactive tools to explore everything from atoms to astronomy. It’s the perfect way to spark a lifelong love of learning—through play, creativity, and teamwork.

Perfect for curious kids who love to build—or take things apart, the morning hands-on engineering program allows campers to explore how machines work. They will build, design, and test their own creations using gears, pulleys, levers, and more.

In the afternoon, imagination takes center stage as kids design their own superheroes, invent adventures, and build epic battle scenes with LEGO® bricks. Inspired by comic book legends, they’ll create fantasy worlds—and maybe even uncover their own superpowers.
